Our owner Gene Nygaard is a local fisherman harvesting Maine Lobster from the cold clear waters of Casco Bay. Served fresh daily in his Seafood Restaurant since 1997. “KICK BACK ON THE KENNEBEC” and enjoy Fresh seafood from boat to table as the river and the boating activity pass by.

We are a short ride North of Portland, Freeport and Brunswick and South of Boothbay Harbor, Lewiston and Augusta Maine.

The Kennebec Tavern and Marina is in an area know as Maine’s Mid Coast . The home of Bowdoin College, the Maine State Music Theater, Maine Maritime Museum and much more. The Kennebec Tavern Restaurant is a favorite spot for locals and tourist to enjoy Maine food and views at its Best.
